GOALS TO PROMOTE OT AND INCREASE AWARENESS IN COMMUNITY
- Increase visibility in the community
- Participate in other community events and have booths at these:
- ASNH walk
- Brain Injury walk
- career days
- backpack campaign
- Press releases, article, radio add, public service announcements. OT MONTH CAMPAIGN
- NHOTA on the road tour
- Invite/reach out to other community orgs to exhibit and advertise with us.
Service to the New Hampshire Community
The New Hampshire Occupational Therapy Association (NHOTA) works with various community and professional groups towards mutual goals relating to health, wellness, and prevention activities. Members of NHOTA are available to community groups to offer education on diverse topics such as supporting healthy growth and development, parenting skills, communication skills, conflict-resolution, modifying your home as you age, ergonomic tips for your computer or work area, energy conservation and joint protection, and preventing repetitive motion syndromes.
